ACIS Operations Duty Shift Reports


 
Entering New ACIS Shift Reports


The procedure for submitting ACIS shift reports is as follows. During a shift, the on-duty scientist may write their shift report using their favorite editor but must save it in a certain format. The filename must be in the following format: Month_Date_Year_Shift#.txt. For example, July_17_99_A2.txt is a valid name. At the end of a shift, the scientist must copy their ACIS shift report to
/proj/ascwww/AXAF/extra/science/htdocs/acis/ops_reports/
You then must modify the SHIFT.HTML file (ie this page) located in that directory to add a link to your shift report (by just copying the previous syntax and updating the pointer and text appropriately). If for some reason you cannot do the above, notify Shanil Virani who will add it to this page. Any questions, comments, or concerns should also be directed to Shanil.
