S/C Engineering(Jeff): - FDB reviewed and approved OTG operations Friday afternoon, pending the development of a plan for thermal recovery should there be a loss of COMM during the period when HRMA and OBA theraml control was disabled during OTG patch upload. - Radiation telecon held late Friday night (12am - 2am Sat) to evaluate high radiation situation. Fortunately, radiation levels dropped abruptly during pass and thereafter, so did not take any action. - OTG telecons held Saturday. * First, a thermal recovery plan developed by the FOT was discussed and given tentative approval, pending detailed development early Monday. This plan is for bringine the HRMA and OBA back up to temperature after some period of time in which thermal control had been disabled and the HRMA/OBA temps fell below setpoints. * Second, a new issue regarding OTG patch uplink was discussed. The issue was uncovered by TRW West late Friday. The issue is the possibility of an OBC reset occurring DURING the patch upload, with the OTG code in an incomplete state. In this case, the incomplete code would execute after an OBC reset (during which the telescope support software process containing the OTG code is enabled to run), with uncertain results. * While it is extremely unlikely that this would occur, we cannot rule it out, and since we do not have time pressure to do the OTG checkout immediately, we all concluded that it would be prudent to resolve this issue before proceeding. * A telecon today at 5pm EDT (405-244-5060 PIN 1159#) will discuss resolution of the issue. SOT(Bill): - Radiation levels low DSOPS(Joy) - Two new quick looks (see below) - Having some problems processing OBSID's 1944 and 2429 from March 24. Contacted Paul Plucinsky after meeting, will work issue with Peter Ford. GOT(Mike/Chris): - Will setup for Passport to Knowledge TV program today and dry run at 3pm.
