CRM-based orbital fluence is 1.1e9 vs. threshold 1.0e9. Chandra is in the magnetosheath. A CME occurred on Apr 5, and is expected to arrive at the Earth on Apr 7 or Apr 8. A decision was made last night to resume science for this orbit, given the decline in the ACE and GOES rates and the EPHIN E1300, P4GM and P41GM rates being below 33% of the RadMon thresholds. 4) Quick look data: ObsID Target SI Grat Comment ----------------------------------------------- 1578 NGC 4111 ACIS-S NONE ok. LETG insert used 153s long move time command and eight 0.128125s (2MC) short move commands. The number of nudge moves (8) met expectations for the time of the long move. If this behaviour is repeatable, then a 153 second move will become the baseline. For comparison, on the last LETG insertion on 18 March 2001, a 152s second and 15 nudges were used.
