CRM-based orbital fluence is 1.9e9 vs. threshold 1.0e9. Chandra is in the magnetosphere. The SIs are protected for perigee passage. But radiation is expected to increase over the next couple of days, as a result of CMEs associated with recent M5 and X5 solar flares. If enabled, the 2-hour alert might trigger soon. RADMON is enabled at 098:01:50. The SIM will translate to ACIS-S at 098:02:10. 4) Quick look data: ObsID Target SI Grat Comment ----------------------------------------------- There were no new quick look data in this shift. 5) LETG retraction Executed CAP #714, Manual LETG retraction using B-side hardware commands. The retraction was nominal, with one long (153s move) command and eight 0.128125s (2MC) short move commands. The number of nudge moves (8) was one more than used for the last LETG retraction, performed on 22 Mar 2001, but has occurred on previous retractions. As expected, only the MCE-B limit switch showed RETR at the end of the procedure.
