Shift L629. Start at 101:12:00 GMT = 08:00am 11 Apr EDT End 12:00 noon 11 Apr SOT Lead DAS (Times will be given in GMT on day 101.) PLAN ---- Continue running load APR0901E. This entire orbit is OBSID 2080, an ACIS-S/HETG observation of the AGN 3516, simultaneous with XMM. No Comm this shift. Next Comms: 101:17:00 to 19:00 102:02:00 to 04:00 102:12:00 to 13:00 102:19:50 to 21:50 103:06:00 to 07:00 103:15:25 to 17:25 104:00:00 to 01:00 104:09:00 to 10:00 104:17:00 to 19:00 Orbital events: 2001:101:17:56:47.180 232 APOGEE 2001:103:01:40:18.402 232 PERIGEE 2001:104:09:24:00.129 233 APOGEE EVENTS ------ Status at LOS, 101:09:59, was as follows: PCAD MODE = NPNT CONTROL LAW FLAG = NPNT Stars: = 5 FIDS = 3 RA = 166.734 deg Dec = 72.596 deg ROLL = 212.815 deg Format = 2 OBSID = 2080 NGC 3516 SIM FA = -467 SIM TSC = 74423 (ACIS-S) HETG = IN ( 6.34 deg) LETG = OUT (78.34 deg) HRC-S HV is ON EPHIN Geom = LARG E1300 = 1.4 LT 10.0 (RADMON P4GM = 202.6 LT 300. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS Ephin P4GM read 202 at LOS, vs a trigger level of 300. But currently the GOES-8 5-9 MeV differential flux is about 85, and since ephin P4GM is roughly 3.3 times larger we have a good chance that RADMON has or will trigger SCS 107. We'll know at the next comm at 1pm EDT this afternoon. Also, the ACE 130-214 keV proton rates are rising steeply as of 12:00GMT, through ~70,000. Considering that HETG is in, we can tolerate an average rate of ~150,00 until the comm at 10pm EDT tonight, OR an average rate of ~75,000 for the remainder of this orbit until starting CTI at 102:17:29. From the 9am status meeting: Load review yesterday. Some corrections were made and products reissued for a review at 2pm today. We had a long comm scheduled at 105:1900 to 0000 for uploading LETG software. But that activity will not happen, so we will give back 4 hours of this time (was anyone else counting on using it?) 10 am today, star selection and operations working group meeting. 3pm today, OTG telecon. Dial-in number is 405 244 5060, pin 1165# for both of the above meetings.
