Perform OBSID 2845, the last of a series of calibrations on E0102-72, then two more ACIS-S observations of RX J0720.4-3125, the second brightest nearby neutron star, to measure its period derivative and hence derive its nature. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From the 9am status meeting: Three supports in the last day. Goldstone-27 had to repeat dumps to get all the data down with best quality. Email review was conducted of DEC1001B. There are some slight position changes for the asteroid and TOO, and new star catalogs. Products out later this morning with a load review possibly at the 1pm slot but possibly later -- to be announced. Work has started on DEC1701 schedule. Final OR list for DEC2401 two week load is expected, and due, on Monday. CAP to change momentum unloading deadzone on side B was approved, expect to uplink this afternoon. ASVT testing of the SOP for the SIM Tab 2 crossing will take place today. This is part of the Phase II "unsafe ACIS" recovery. Quick look data: No new quick look data. Due to multiple dumps, the NRT merge software had a problem and produced a data stream where the VCDU counter was not strictly monotonic. This is a known software problem which has occured before, and the GOT has a procedure which will recover good data for CXC Dataops. ------------------------------------------------------- Dan Schwartz, MS #3 das@head-cfa.harvard.edu phone: (617)495-7232 FAX: (617)495-7356 cell phone: (617)512-5627 pager: 877-693-7198 PIN 693-7198 or e-mail 6937198@archwireless.net -------------------------------------------------------
