PLAN ---- Continue running load FEB0501c. Doing a 28 hour ACIS-S/HETG observation of QSO H1821+643, obsid 1599, to search for absorption in intervening systems. Remainder of load are all ACIS-S/HETG observations, OBSID 1947 of the high-mass X-ray binary OAO 1657-415, with a 38 sec neutron star pulsar and an unidentified primary star; OBSID 1010 of Capella for cross calibration with the HRC-S; and OBSID 1926 of VELA X-1 to study the dynamics of the stellar wind at various phases of the binary orbit. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From the 9am status meeting: Three supports yesterday. Remainder of FEB0501 load was uplinked. On-board loads good until 43:21:19. Did CAP 691 to uplink patches for the short eclipses (first 4 eclipses of spring season). First eclipse on Feb 11, at 07 GMT. Did CAP 648f to uplink the February ephemeris coefficients. Mission planning expects Feb1901 products out today, first review next Monday. The HDF-N observations need to be shortened by ~9% due to many time constrained ORs, namely AQL X-1 with two phase constraints, SS 433 coordinated with HST, CRAB NEBULA coordinated with HST, NGC 3783 coordinated with HST. In Addition, there are 3 eclipses that week. The GOT needs to do a database backup. Will start sometime after the pass ending at 2:30pm EST today. Next week, CAP review of grating motions will be held on Monday. CAP review of ACIS squeegy test will be held on Tuesday.
