The retraction was nominal, with one long (153s move) command and seven 0.128125s (2MC) short move commands. The number of nudge moves (7) was the same as used for the last LETG retraction, performed on 18 Feb 2001. 6) ASVT testing of OBC software patch for OTG control. Testing of the SOP to be used for checkout of the OBC software patch revealed a couple of issues: - the patch has swapped command codes for enabling and disabling the lockout in the MCE for LETG moves. The command MSIDs are 4LOLGBDS and 4LOLGBEN. - the patch has swapped command codes for enabling and disabling the lockout in the MCE for HETG moves. The command MSIDs are 4LOHGBDS and 4LOHGBEN. - the patch swaps the INSERT and RETRACT definitions of the telemetry MSID 4OOTGMTN, by which the OBC indicates the direction of commanded OTG motion. The patch will be corrected for the command MSIDs. It is expected that the ground telemetry databases will be altered to match the new OBC definition of 4OOTGMTN, rather than change the patch at this stage. The swapped commands were not caught in earlier testing because the ASVT software model for the MCEs+OTGs also has similarly swapped definitions for these commands. Other command codes used in the OTG software patch have been compared against the command database at the OCC, and no further errors have been found. In addition, the new patch to reset the Last_Move_Successful flag in the OBC was successfully uploaded to the OBC and its function verified during today's testing. ASVT testing of the SOP will resume either tomorrow or next week, after delivery of the corrected patch.
