Labor problems at Canberra: expect brief walkouts with 1/2 hr notice. We can work around these, except if they continue during next week's OTG operations, we may need to reschedule. S/C: ASVT SOP testing to occur this AM. GOT: - SOT: ACE proton radiation is low at present. At 1000 GMT the 175-315 keV electron flux on ACE increased by two orders of magnitude & there was an x-ray spike in GOES, indicating a solar flare. At 1200 the GOES proton flux at E> 10 MeV went up an order of magnitude. We may see a large increase in proton flux soon as a result of this activity.
