Observe spatial structure (5 arc second) and spectral structure (resolution of 100 at 1 keV); directly determine whether or not a cooling flow is associated with the central region of HYDRA A. In telemetry, P4GM is currently ~10 (limit 300.0) and P41GM is 0.3 (limit 8.47). ACE rates have risen in the higher energy proton channels, although little is seen yet in the range most relevent to Chandra. The HETG is inserted for the rest of this orbit, which will provide a significant buffer.
