If the radiation environment at the 0315 pass does not allow the CAP to proceed, defer to the 0630 pass. Support 10:15 PM EST radiation telecon to discuss the merit of uplinking NOV0801 replan load. Due to EPHIN rates above SCS107 trigger values at the 0603 pass, a decision made at a 1:30 AM telecon to abort the NOV0801 command loads. Therefore, CAP 753 was NOT performed. SUMMARY: ---------- Unfortuntely we were not able to perform CAP 753 because of the radiation environment. At the 0315 pass, it was decided that the current radiation environment was trending in a direction such that a consensus was reached to uplink the NOV0801A command loads. The EPHIN rates, however, were too high to allow the ACIS CTI CAP to proceed and was thus deferred to the 0630 pass. The following criteria was adopted at the 10:15 pm EST telecon: If the EPHIN rates are below 1/3 their trigger values at the 0630 pass, I will proceed with the ACIS CTI CAP. IF THE EPHIN values are GREATER than 1/2 of their trigger values, I will send a page to sot_red_alert to convene a radiation telecon to possibly suspend the NOV0801 loads. We came up on COMM ~ 20 mins earlier than anticipated (0612). For the next 20 mins, EPHIN E1300 and P4 rates hovered ABOVE their trigger values (sporadically dipping below). After confering with the OC, a decision was made to convene a radiation telecon. The outcome of the telecon was to clear and disable the NOV0801A command loads so that we retain the option of using the NOV0901 command loads at a pass tomorrow afternoon.
