Onboard loads good until 301:03:17 Load review of OCT2901B needed only some star catalog updates. OCT2901C products will be issued, only a email review of differences will be required. Gyro 2 current is still noisy, still associated with bias changes. ACE solar proton fluxes were very high, following arrival of Monday's CME at about 0600GMT this morning. We stowed ACIS for the radiation passage at about 1000, so no action was taken. Current ACE flux is about 50,000, and we would not want to resume the observing program coming out of the belts if it continues that high. I will likely call a radiation telecon for late afternoon unless the ACE fluxes plummet by 3pm EDT. There was an ad hoc discussion of the radiation paging system. We plan to make the following changes: Scrub the paging lists so individuals don't get multiple copies. Send out only 1, not 3, pages for each separate trigger event. Define a standard format Post the various alert lists on a web page, with names associated to pager numbers. Clarify the action to be taken when a radiation alert is sent. These items will be discussed in detail in an email which DAS is to send to the sot_yellow_alert distribution.
