While the core of this CME is not likely to reach Earth, some of the ejected material is heading our way and could reach Earth late on July 8 or sometine on July 9. 3-day Solar-Geophysical Forecast issued Jul 6 at 22:00 UTC Solar Activity Forecast: Solar activity is expected to be low, but there is a chance for an isolated M-class flare. Geophysical Activity Forecast: The geomagnetic field is expected to be quiet to unsettled for July 07 - 08. An increase to active, with a chance for periods of minor storm levels may occur sometime July 09 due to the arrival of the flank of today's CME. EPHIN rates (cts/cm^2-s-sr) at last comm.
