Finish the DDT observation 7296, an HRC-S/LETG observation of the symbiotic recurrent Nova RS Oph, to study shocks caused by material ejected from the white dwarf moving through the outer layers of the red giant. Then do 5807, an ACIS-S observation of the cluster of galaxies Abell 2052 to study the morphology of the bubbles and ripples caused by the radio source 3C 317. EPH temp: 91.63 degF EPH 27V: 20.25 NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS From the 9am status meeting: Three supports over the past day. DSS-34 initially had no command or telemetry due to a cable wrap issue. Antenna was moved around and track was established with no impact to Chandra. Due to a TDRS emergency there was a 26 minute delay in start of support yesterday afternoon. SSR was not completely dumped, but has since been brought up to date. CAP 997 was run to replace the MAR2106C loads with MAR2306B, the latter incorporating the Venus pathfinder observations. CAP's 995 and 996 were run 5 and 7 times, respectively, during the pathfinder observations to reacquire stars. MAR2706A products are out for a load review at 11am EST on 1159#. B products will be necessary to configure the ACA for the Venus observations. Based on unexpected loss of stars in the "good half" of the ACA during the pathfinder tests, the Venus configuration will be discussed at 10am EST on 1159#. There will be construction in the control room, 5am to 5pm on Saturday, to run feed lines to the sprinkler system.
