Posters and Microtalks

Posters

Posterboards are 4x4 ft. Posters should be mounted between 8:00AM and 8:45AM on Tuesday, and must be removed before 1pm Thursday. Poster spots will be numbered in alphabetical order and an index posted, so that you can see where to place your poster when you arrive. We encourage you to include a photo of yourself somewhere on the poster so people can find you and ask silly questions, comment on your hairstyle, etc.

Microtalks

The Microtalk session at 11:30AM Tuesday allows poster presenters the option of taking 1 minute to tell everybody about your poster and your project science. The 1 minute maximum will be enforced, so it is wise to time your presentation beforehand. No PPT projector will be available, but you may display up to two key figures as an overhead transparency, to accompany your oral abstract, haiku, limerick and/or interpretive dance. We will ASSUME that all poster presenters will give a Microtalk, and will call your name in alphabetical order. Please tell us in advance if you prefer NOT to present a Microtalk.
