Look for CIAO 3.3 in Fall 2005! The Chandra X-Ray Center introduced version 3.2.2 (a patch to version 3.2.1) of the Chandra Interactive Analysis of Observations (CIAO) software package on 23 June 2005.The CIAO 3.2.2 patch contains significant bug fixes to the mkacisrmf and asphist tools. Read the patch release notes for full details. In order for CIAO 3.2.2 to work properly, you must have at least CALDB 3.1.0 installed. Installation instructions for CIAO and the CALDB are available on the Downloading CIAO 3.2 page. The following sections are designed to get users pointed in the right direction. There are many pieces of documentation not listed here, which may be accessed from the left-hand navigation bar.
