Chandra/CIAO WorkshopsThe Chandra X-Ray Center (CXC) offers a series of workshops aimed at helping users to work with the Chandra Interactive Analysis of Observations (CIAO) software. There is not a workshop currently scheduled. Future workshops will be announced on this page. The program will include talks on:
The hands-on sessions enable participants to gain experience using CIAO on Chandra data. Members of the CIAO team will be on hand at all times to solve problems. Sample Chandra data sets are provided, but attendees may choose to work with their own Chandra data. Information on past workshops - which includes electronic copies of all the handouts and presentations - may be found in the workshop webpages. If you are planning your own CIAO workshop and would like to request support from the CXC, please submit the relevant details to the Helpdesk. Proposals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
