The memory buffer window (Sec.1.3) contains a Tile button. Selecting one or more spectrograms in that window and clicking the Tile button generates a tiled plot of all selected spectrograms. The plot is drawn on a separate window, thus the main Specview window remains available for other uses.
Each spectrogram plot is identified by a sequential number that corresponds to the sequential numbers displayed in the memory buffer window.
The usual mouse click commands available in the main Specview window are also available on each individual plot (Sec. 2.4, “Cursor commands”). Thus one can use a mouse left click to display the spectrogram identifier, or a mouse right click to access the spectrogram properties, such as header, metadata and tabular data.
The tiled window menu bar has a Preferences menu. This menu gives access to three user-configurable parameters:
These user preferences can also be set via a Preferences Editor (Sec. 9).
