How to search the Helpdesk Database
- Enter keyword(s) in the "Problem/Request Description" field. If
you wish to use more than one word, seperate with a "," for OR
operation.
- Information entered in two or more fields will be treated as an AND operation.
- Do not enter anything in the "Submitter" or "Support Staff
Information" fields unless you are searching for a specific (known) ticket.
- You may do broad searches by category, or use this as one of your
criteria. Be aware, however, that tickets may be misclassified or
classified as "Other."
- Please note that tickets marked "Private" upon submission will not
be visible via this Helpdesk search.
- To search by date, enter a range of dates in the form
mm/dd/yyyy--mm/dd/yyyy
into either the "Date Open" or "Closed Date"
field. To search from a given date to the present, use mm/dd/yyyy--
