ACIS undercover observations


To conduct load reviews with ACIS undercover observations in them, we need to look out for the following items:
  1. A SIM translation to an HRC-I location of -20680 (ish)
  2. The load review script will produce the following warnings:

    >>>WARNING: THERE HAS BEEN NO SIM TRANSLATION YET!
    >>>------- MAKE SURE A SIM TRANSLATION OCCURS PRIOR TO RADBELT TRANSIT!

  3. The observation will start with an HRC observation and then switch the obsid and the format will change to 2.
To ensure that this is indeed an ACIS undercover observation:
  1. Check the OCAT under the HRC OBSID(NOT THE ACIS ONE)
  2. Check the ER and the ORs for information on the correct SI_mode
  3. Current SI_mode is TE_005AE(corresponds to WT005AE014 parameter block and WSPOW0ED3F power commands)
