My script worked in CIAO 2.3. Why won't it work in CIAO 3?
A significant change between CIAO 2.3 and CIAO 3 is that as of CIAO 3.0, Sherpa converts all input data to double precision, and performs all its computations in double precision. A script that defines values as Float_Type was appropriate for CIAO 2.3, but has a bad effect in CIAO 3. Changing those values to Double_Type should yield the expected results.
