print_axis_names

Synopsis

Display the names of the axes in an image.

Syntax

print_axis_names(crate)

Description

  • crate - input IMAGECrate

The print_axis_names command prints the names of the axes in the given IMAGECrate.

Example

>>> cr = read_file("image.fits")
>>> print_axis_names(cr)
sky(x,y)
EQPOS(RA,DEC)

This image has physical ("sky") and world ("EQPOS") coordinate systems defined.
