Welcome to the Chandra X-ray Center Helpdesk
In order to streamline support requests and better serve you, we utilize a support ticket system. Every support request is assigned a unique ticket number which you can use to track the progress and responses online. A valid email address is required to submit a ticket.
2021 End of Year Schedule:
The CXC helpdesk will stop providing routine support beginning at 4:00pm EST (UTC-5:00), Tuesday, 21 December 2021. Correspondences received after that time will be answered when the helpdesk resumes normal operating hours starting on 03 January 2022.
Problems with CIAO? Please be sure to include:
- Which version of CIAO?
- What operating system & version?
- The full syntax for the command(s) you are running.
- The complete text of all messages or warnings.
Do not include screen-shots of text in terminal windows; please cut-and-paste the text into the helpdesk ticket.
