@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @ @ @ MTA Monitoring Report 3/9/00 - 3/16/00 @ @ @ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Two new problems are reported to mta problem traker this week. It seems that they are related to the spike observered subbatt on 3/15. *************** MTA Problem Tracking. ***************** NEW --- MSID First Recent Pri Occ Scientist EOESAC2C 3/16 3/16 4 4 swolk EOESAC1C 3/16 3/16 4 3 swolk REOPENED -------- MSID First Recent Pri Occ Scientist AOSAILLM 2/18 3/16 4 11 aldcroft EB2DI 2/17 3/16 4 13 swolk EB3DI 2/17 3/16 4 10 swolk ESAMYI 2/17 3/16 4 15 swolk ESAPYI 2/17 3/16 4 57 swolk AOPSAMUL 2/17 3/16 3 10 aldcroft NOT NEW BUT KEEP COMING EB1DI, EPOVSPR, EB3V, 2PRBSCR, AWD6TQI, 2CE00ATM,2CE01ATM, SEHSE400, AWD5TQI, AWD4TQI,AOFUNLST, AOVAMPWR, EB3CI, 3B1CI, EB2CI, AWD3TQI, AOACHIBK ******** Trending *********** * ACIS Theraml: some up or down jumps are observed * ACIS Electronics: same V-shape upturn trend continues * EPIN Temp & voltage: upward trend continue for many of msids * HRMA Struts: among hrma, struts msids show strong trends * HRMA TFTE: this group shows strong trends * ACA Thermal: upward trend continue * PCAD Gyro rate:AOSUNEC* clear sin shape trend continue * Spacecrat Temp: many msid shows upward trend; some of them show clear U shape recently * Spacecarft Elec: OHRMAPWR is coming down (reverse U shape) * OBA/HRMA Thermal: mamy msids show clear upward trend, but some of them start showing downward turn recently ************ CTI trend ************* In general, no significant changes observed. One possible variations are shown up on CCD 7 Al K alpha. It seems variations are stronger than before. *********** ACIS Focal Temperature ******** After the last week's jump, it is steady around -120 C. ************* Telemetry *********** HIGHLIGHTS: EOEB1DIC (BATTERY 1 DISCHARGE) had a huge spike on beginning of 3/15. Similar spikes are seens many of subbatt msids. It seems that the duration was too short to get reported to Problem Traker. On 3/11, one large jump into red zone was observed on many msid on HRMA group. Since the time of the jump was at the same time, it seems that this is due to software grich rather than real. This types of jumps are observed every few days (e.g. 3/16). As before, many of HRMA msids violate red warnings, but many of them are due to mta limits. We are planning to update the limit database soon. However, some of the HRMA TFTE msids have upward trend, we many need to keep eyes on HTFTEGRD6 nad HTFTEGRD9 of the group. HAFTBGRD1 and HAFTBGRD3 of HRMA Aft Bulkhead, HCONEGRD36 and HCONEGRD44 of OBA Cone, and HSSTRTGRD2 and HSSTRTGRD4 of Spacecraft Struts have large movement thoughout the periods. ************* MTA software *********** * ACIS focal plane plot bugs are fixed. It looks much better than before. * MTA state change reports have some problem; currently checking causes.
