@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @ @ @ MTA Monitoring Report 5/26/00 - 6/01/00 @ @ @ @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ *********** Lost Data Update ************** Since remus is still not restored from tapes, we still do not have an access to old processed data. Almost all lost mta related processed data are now reprocessed, and waiting to put back to the original locations. ************ CTI trend ************* On 5/30/2000, CTIs of CCD0 showed significant drops: DATE Node 0 Node 1 Node 2 Node 3 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Al Ka: 2000-05-28 1.852+-0.066 2.275+-0.092 2.264+-0.047 2.024+-0.078 2000-05-30 1.616+-0.131 1.940+-0.189 1.931+-0.168 1.737+-0.135 Mn Ka: 2000-05-28 0.986+-0.016 1.151+-0.027 1.169+-0.017 1.056+-0.015 2000-05-30 0.824+-0.047 0.978+-0.071 0.989+-0.062 0.884+-0.045 Ti Ka: 2000-05-28 1.097+-0.027 1.321+-0.040 1.316+-0.036 1.178+-0.017 2000-05-30 0.944+-0.057 1.125+-0.083 1.130+-0.075 1.018+-0.054 According to Catherine Grant (cgrant@space.mit.edu), this is due to a squeegee mode (obsid 62042) on CCD0 on that day. The lower CTI is the expected result of the squeegee test. ************** MTA Problem Tracking ***************** No new problem was reported. Only one problem is added a count: 5EHSE400 ******** Trending *********** No new trends are observed. ************* Telemetry *********** PCAD Reaction Wheel Rate, AORWSPD4 and AORWSPD6 almost reached a red warning zone in this period. This is the first time that we observed warnings for these msids. From: Jeff Shirer Fri, 2 Jun 2000 09:00:48 -0400 The reaction wheel speeds were less than 4500 rpm for the week, which are well within spec. and the FOT's limits. From Dan S. Fri, 02 Jun 2000 08:41:17 -0400 "A momentum auto-unloading event was performed by Chandra for the first time during the interval 151:17:19:22 to 151:17:27:33. Momentum unloading had always been predicted and performed via stored commands, so the auto-unload was unexpected. This was near perigee, so a gravity gradient torque larger than we calculated is suspected. Everything behaved properly, as designed." I assume the high wheel rates you report are just before the automatic momentum unloading occurred. From SJW Fri, 02 Jun 2000 12:41:17 -0400 The actual time of the limit violations were:151:07:00:00 wheel 4 150:10:00:00 wheel 6 So I am not sure how closely they are connected. *********** ACIS Focal Temperature ******** Acis focal plane temperature peaked only twice in this period. Day (DOY) Temp (C) Width (DAY) 149.12 -112.6 0.23 151.76 -112.2 0.24 where the width is defined by a difference between a start and an end points of the peak, assuming the baseline is at -119 C. It is not a fwhm nor a standard deviation. We expected one peak on 146.8, but it did not happen. *********** Photon Page ************ Acis OBSID DETECTOR GRATING TARGET ANALYSIS --------------------------------------------------------- 866 ACIS-S NONE Q1127-145 OK 895 ACIS-I NONE ABELL 2104 OK 441 ACIS-S NONE MKN421,YOFF-20 OK 861 ACIS-I NONE Q2345+007 OK 141 ACIS-S NONE E0102-72.3 CHIP S3 OK 663 ACIS-I NONE 1735-269 OK 740 ACIS-I NONE CYGNUS LOOP SW V OK 504 ACIS-I NONE CEN CLUSTER OK 617 ACIS-I NONE OPHIUCHI MOSAIC#4 OK 687 ACIS-S HETG BHXB OK 788 ACIS-S NONE NGC 5846 OK 198 ACIS-S NONE CAS A CHIP S3,3A OK 880 ACIS-S NONE PSS1435+3057 OK 948 ACIS-S NONE NGC 6752 OK 813 ACIS-S NONE Q0059-2735 OK 893 ACIS-I NONE ABELL3128 OK 942 ACIS-S NONE NGC4244 OK 81 ACIS-S NONE 1E0035.4-7230 OK 661 ACIS-I NONE 1708-408 OK 360 ACIS-S NONE CYGNUS A OK 724 ACIS-S NONE 4U0142+61 OK Also the following OBSID were analyzed: 1702 1707 1728 1716 1717 1727 1726 1729 1724 1720 1725 1722 1723 1719 1721 Following OBSID do not have full analysis: 1718 62887 62048 62046 62045 62047 HRC OBSID DETECTOR GRATING TARGET ANALYSIS --------------------------------------------------------- 260 HRC-I NONE M31-SOUTH OK 272 HRC-I NONE M31-CENTER OK 296 HRC-I NONE M31-NORTH2 OK 849 HRC-I NONE 1217+301 OK 248 HRC-I NONE M31-SOUTH2 OK 284 HRC-I NONE M31-NORTH1 OK 722 HRC-I NONE NGC6652 OK 721 HRC-I NONE NGC6441 OK Grating 1706
