Radiation

A rough week this week. An X5 flare lead to a very soft CME. The shock arrived Monday at at 1900 UT. Rates are almost back to normal. The good news is the troublesome region 9591 is past the meridian on the sun. The bad new is that a new complex region (9600/9601) has just appeared on the limb. We have included a plot of ACE & Goes Rates versus ACIS rates for the week so that every one can see the direct impact of the storm.
