Telemetry

IRUs

A real-time procedure was completed on Mar 30 to perform a manual unload of momentum using thrusters A-1 (100%), A-2 and A-3. The unload duration was longer than expected for nominal thruster performance and consistent with prior anomalous unloads. A software patch was uplinked to allow collection of high sample rate telemetry of the bus current, and the data are under analysis.

The IRU-1 gyro-1 current has continued to display elevated and noisy behavior above its yellow limit (150mA) but below its red limit (200mA). Following discussions with the vendor, procedures and products for a B-side IRU swap are being readied in the event that they are needed. The gyro bias level has remained unaffected by the change in current and so to date, there has been no impact to science or operations.

Recent Observations

"Prob" means that there was probably bad time data included in the manual runs. This will be corrected in future processing.
