Radiation

SCS 107 ran on Chandra at 2003:128:20:08, due to a RADMON trip, due to high EPHIN rates on E1300 and P4GM. SCS 107 ran nominally and the instruments are safed correctly. The radiation trip seems to be due to another early radiation belt event. The SCS107 trip happened 13 hours and 1 minute before perigee.

Detrended CTI

CTI analysis is now computed with "detrending":
Detrend CTI = Measured CTI + S3 amplitude reject rate * Detrend factor.

Average of ACIS-I CCDs (MnKa) slope 8.511e-9 CTI/day
Detrended slope 8.732e-9 CTI/day

ACIS Warm Pixels

ACIS Focal Plane Temperature

For this period, 4 peak are observed.

SIM Movements

10 TSC moves this period
weekly average time/step 0.00144 s

Telemetry

IRUs

The gyro bias level has remained unaffected by the change in current and so to date, there has been no impact to science or operations. The procedure and products to perform a swap to IRU-2 were approved last week by the Flight Director Board and are available in the event they are needed.

Reaction wheel speeds have occasionally dropped below the limit of 52.4 rad/s due to our increased momentum envelope.

Recent Observations

"Prob" means that there was probably bad time data included in the manual runs. This will be corrected in future processing.

This Week's focus Sun Angle.

Followings are plots for 1DPAMYT(DPA -Y PANEL TEMP) and 1DPAMZT (DPA -Z PANEL TEMP) of acis temperature for the last 3 months (for the entire mission, see the table below). These show the limit violation due to the extended Orion pointing at about 140 degrees at about DOM 1270.
