MP: No report. Eng: Yesterday morning the thermistor 3TSMXSPT jumped from nominal values of ~22C to anomalously high value of 386C (max cal curve value). This thermistor is located on the -X side of the ISIM turtle shell near some ACIS structural support elements. Other temperatures in the region (including ACIS instrument temperatures) did not show any anomalous behavior. At this point, it is suspected that the thermistor associated with the 3TSMXSPT MSID has failed. There are no operational impacts from this thermistor failure. A detailed investigation of the event will be conducted. GOT: No issues.
