With insufficient time to reschedule and rebuild the weekly loads, in order to reconfigure ACIS to a more useful SIMode for the remaining Sco X-1 observations this CAP will activate an RTS in SCS 135 after the science run has started (after the BIAS has completed) which will stop the science run in progress, command the parameters for a new SIMode, and restart science. The science run would then end as scheduled in the weekly loads. The configuration which will be commanded is the same as that used in the previous observation of Sco X-1 in 2003. An OBSID change will be commanded prior to activating the SCS to aid in ground processing - 1482A, 054/2240z, Sco X-1 SIMode change - 1437D, 055/1314z, Single Replica Dark Current Radiation: Solar activity is expected to be very low on days one, two, and three (25 Feb, 26 Feb, 27 Feb). MP: Late last week it was noticed that SIMode for Sco-X-1 observation was incorrect. Worked with ACIS on supplementary loads to replace existing load. Currently working on the next set of loads. Eng: CAPs to replace the SIMode for SCO X-1 ran nominally. SIMode was changed. After the change count rates on the chips were as expected. GOT: No issues.
