MP: Jan0419A replan loads were approved yesterday. Jan1419 loads are in work. Eng: Prior to the eclipse on Day 354 the Battery 3 full charge current read 2.41A. Upon eclipse exit, the Battery 3 full charge current read 2.01A. Battery 3 full charge current remained at ~2.01A for the four eclipses after Day 354. This ~0.4A drop in full charge current is consistent with the loss of the expected output from one of the solar array charging strings. To mitigate the risk of Battery 3 being taken off line during a safing event involving a full charge cycle for the batteries (e.g., Safe Mode or an IU reset), CAP 1475 is in preparation with an action to remove the 3-watt reconditioning resistor on Battery 3. This action will maximize the available charge current to the battery, and hopefully avoid a low current trip of the EPS monitor. GOT: No issues.
