See http://cxc.harvard.edu/mta/SOT_reports/sot-shift.html Shift L7351. Start at 249:13:00 GMT PLAN ---- Return to science following NSUN anomaly planned at 2019:249:23:30 with the remainder of the SEP0219 week starting with obsid 21715. Uplink will be on the DSS-65 249/2150-0045 pass. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- From the 9am status meeting: 3 Supports completed in the last 24 hours (total time: 6.4 hours) 3 SSR dumps Loads good through 3 CAPs - 1493, 248/2225z, Normal Sun Mode Recovery - 893B, 248/2245z, Disable SCS29 - 1494, 249/0037z, Command a 4-CCD ACIS-I ECS measurement via RTS Radiation: Solar activity is expected to be very low on days one, two, and three (06 Sep, 07 Sep, 08 Sep). MP: SEP0619A return-to-science load review today at 11am, these loads contain the remainder of the Sep0219 loads. Sep0919 loads will be out ASAP, they will include a recently approved TOO. Eng: At 2019:248:16:51:18 Chandra entered NSM due to a recurrence of the ACA transient high background anomaly. This resulted in all star image readouts being saturated for an extended period of time, and subsequent loss of track. Given the tail sun pitch of about 160 deg, the OBC commanded a transition to NSUN Mode. During the 248:2045z to 2145z pass, steps 1 to 6 of the NSUN recovery procedure were successfully run. This put the spacecraft into bright star hold at a near-normal sun attitude. During the 249:0100z to 0200z pass the remaining steps of the procedure were successfully completed, leaving the spacecraft at a cooling attitude. The maneuver to this attitude completed at 249:0159z. The ACIS CAP to start an extended ECS measurement was completed as well. GOT: No issues.
