HRC SOT Shift Report See http://cxc.harvard.edu/mta/SOT_reports/sot-shift.html Report M8337 Start at 139:21:45 = 05:45 PM, Thursday May 19 End at 140:00:10 = 08:10 PM, Thursday May 19 HRC Personnel: Dan Patnaude, Ralph Kraft, Paul Nulsen, Grant Tremblay, and Tom Gauron PLAN: ------ Execute CAP 1608A: Configure HRC to Side-A on the Primary Bus and Power On the HRC Side-A Electronics NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS: ---------------------- CAP execution set to begin at 21:40z When the +5V turned on, the 15V LVPS on the side-A was already on. This was unexpected, but possibly due to a stuck flip-flop, or possibly due to the HRC being cold for an extended period of time. The HRC team will monitor this during future activities, and will investigate this behavior with the lab electronics. CAP ended successfully at 00:10z CLD Files executed: 2A_PWRUP_SET_135.CLD 2ACAP1608ADM_175.CLD 2A_G0031_181.CLD SUMMARY: ------ The HRC was successfully swapped to the side-A electronics on the primary bus. The 5V was powered on successfully, the 24V was powered on and the PMT2 was connected to the side-A preamplifier, and PMT1 was connected to the side-B preamplifier. The 24V was then powered off. The 15V LVPS was found to be on when the 5V was turned on. The HRC team is investigating this, but the voltages were nominal and within expected ranges. The PMT2 was powered on and collected data for approximately 1.5 hours. At 8pm, a decision was made to end the CAP. The PMT2 and 15V were powered down. The 15V came up nominally 22:17 Commands were sent to turn on the 14V. The 24V came up nominally 22:26 Commands were sent to connect PMT2 to side-A and PMT1 to side-B preamps 22:29 Commands were sent to manually turn on and power up the shields 22:33 A decision was made to collect data on the 15V and PMT2 for an extended period of time 00:00 Anti-coincidence shield powered down nominally 00:03 Commands sent to power down side-A 15V LVPS.
