Workshop Goals
- To identify the scientific topics of greatest interest, and to explore directions for this field as the Chandra and XMM-Newton missions mature.
- To articulate the present and future role of triggering in this field.
- To review recent progress in the study of X-ray binaries with Chandra and XMM-Newton.
- To facilitate dialogue between observers, theorists, and observatory personnel.
