   The Red Hat 6 binaries for acis_fef_lookup crash at the end when run on Red Hat 7; note that RH7 is not a supported CIAO platform. The same binaries run fine on Red Hat 6 or Red Hat 8, which are supported.

   Workarounds:

   1. Use the CIAO 2.3 version of acis_fef_lookup instead. The tool's functionality has not changed since that release.

      To do so, first download ciao23_acis_fef_lookup. Then, from a window running CIAO (note that this needs to be done by whomever owns the CIAO installation, e.g. your sysadmin):

      unix% rm $ASCDS_CONTRIB/bin/acis_fef_lookup
      
      unix% mv ciao23_acis_fef_lookup $ASCDS_CONTRIB/bin/acis_fef_lookup
      

   2. Upgrade the OS to Red Hat 8, which is officially supported for CIAO.
