Bugs

  1. Only 10 characters of DETNAM are copied to the output (01 Dec 2006)

When the evtfile parameter is used, only the first 10 characters of the DETNAM header keyword value are copied to the output. This is a problem when 6 ACIS chips are used; the final chip number is dropped.

    unix% dmkeypar acis_evt2.fits DETNAM echo+
    ACIS-012367

    unix% psf_project_ray 100_10_150_10000.fits psf_project_ray_out.fits acis_evt2.fits

    unix% dmkeypar psf_project_ray_out.fits DETNAM echo+
    ACIS-01236

    Workaround:

Use dmhedit to correct the DETNAM value in the output file:

    unix% dmhedit psf_project_ray_out.fits filelist="" op=add key=DETNAM value=ACIS-012367

    unix% dmkeypar psf_project_ray_out.fits DETNAM echo+
    ACIS-01236
