Overview

Members of the Chandra X-ray Center are hosting a 1 day Chandra/CIAO Hack Day on Monday, 17 August 2026 at the Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian.

Who should come?

• You have a question about Chandra/CIAO data analysis that you want to discuss with experts in a live setting.
• You have a novel analysis approach and would like CXC input.
• You have a script or notebook issue that you just cannot figure out and need some help with.

The Center for Astrophysics | Harvard & Smithsonian, 60 Garden Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Workshop Schedule

There is no set agenda and no formal talks. CXC staff members will be available from 9 am to 5 pm. Come for an hour or stay all day.

Cost

The event is free to attend.
