A small two day CIAO workshop was held on 18-19 August 2015, at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Cambridge, MA.

The fifth AtomDB Workshop
which preceded the
The Universe in High-resolution X-ray Spectra
Chandra workshop.
The workshop lasted from 9am to 6pm and focus on getting the most out of Chandra data, with discussions of CIAO capabilities and the impact of calibration on cutting edge science.
Participants were required to bring their own laptop with the latest CIAO installed for the hand-on session.
A single talk was presented by Jonathan McDowell providing an Introduction to CIAO
The workshop was mainly aimed at students and postdocs new to Chandra data.
