DOIs for the Chandra Source Catalog 2.1
DOIs have been created for all stacks and observations in
the Chandra Source Catalog v2.1 (CSC2.1).
The DOIs can be found in the DS_IDENT keywords in the headers of all data products associated
with stacks and observations of the catalog. The names of the DOIs are generated using the
stack_detect_id and
obsid identifiers for stacks
and observations, respectively.
In particular, DOIs for stack-level data products are defined as follows:
10.25574/csc2.stk.'stack_detect_id'
(Example: https://doi.org/10.25574/csc2.stk.acisfJ2359567p004249_001)
Similarly, observation-level DOIs are defined as:
10.25574/csc2.obs.'obsid'
(Example: https://doi.org/10.25574/csc2.obs.23134)
These CSC DOIs can be included in a Chandra Data Collection DOI.
If you use a subset of sources in the catalog or any master-source level data products, please cite the catalog-wide CSC2.1 DOI in your publication:
10.25574/csc2
(https://doi.org/10.25574/csc2)
