xscflow

Context: models

Synopsis

Cooling flow model. XSpec model.

Description

A cooling flow model after Mushotzky and Szymkowiak ("Cooling Flows in Clusters and Galaxies" ed. Fabian, 1988). An index of zero for the power law emissivity function corresponds to emission measure weighted by the inverse of the cooling time at that temperature.

The model assumes H_0=50 and q_0=0. The abundance ratios are set by the set_xsabund command.

This is an additive model component.

XSpec version

This information is taken from the XSpec User's Guide. Version 12.6.0l of the XSpec models is supplied with CIAO 4.3.
